Angela Merkel Apartment
One day as I was reading one of the daily Berlin news updates, which is delivered to my computer each day, I happened to notice a short sentence saying that Angela Merkel lived in an apartment across from the Pergamon Museum. There was a single policeman posted outside one of the buildings. One of my exchange students who happened to be with me at the time asked the policeman which apartment belonged to her. He willingly pointed it out to him……the third floor of the yellow building. Quite a difference from the circumstances surrounding the home of the President of the United States, to say the least.
